The Kathmandu Street Archive

Documenting the changing face
of the valley,
one block at a time.

Founded in 2014 as a grassroots collective, this space has come a long way from its inception, when we used to flood the backstreets of Kathmandu with passionate photographers eager to learn and share. While the large crowds have settled, the spirit remains. Today, we are transforming this space into a permanent learning hub and a living visual archive of the valley. The tradition hasn't stopped—the photo walks still happen every Saturday. If you want to join my son and me for a mindful stroll through the hidden corners of the Kathmandu Valley, you are always welcome. Just send a DM before Saturday to tag along.
