Documenting the changing face
of the valley,
one block at a time.
Founded in 2014 as a grassroots collective, this space has come a long way from its inception, when we used to flood the backstreets of Kathmandu with passionate photographers eager to learn and share. While the large crowds have settled, the spirit remains. Today, we are transforming this space into a permanent learning hub and a living visual archive of the valley. The tradition hasn't stopped—the photo walks still happen every Saturday. If you want to join my son and me for a mindful stroll through the hidden corners of the Kathmandu Valley, you are always welcome. Just send a DM before Saturday to tag along.

The Learning Hub
This section focuses on one idea at a time — something you can notice, try, and reflect on during a walk. These are not rules to follow, but ways to pay closer attention to everyday life. Street photography is best learned slowly and through repetition.
Photography Ethics
Documenting a city requires respect. Learn the unwritten rules of shooting mindfully in Nepal—how to approach subjects with dignity, handle street portraits, and honor local culture.
